Cafe Strategy Cards

I can't believe that I am on Christmas break and when we get back to school there are only 3 more 6 weeks left of my first year in 3rd grade.  We implemented the Daily 5 this year and it has been sooooo much easier to manage than stations.  Shout out if you do the CAFE in your classroom!  My kids really get excited about conferencing with me and then posting their name on the strategy they need to focus on.  I created some strategy cards to go on my CAFE board to match my polka dot motif because I'm too OCD to hand-write them (they would be all different and would throw me into a panic).
Check out my strategy cards and grab a set  HERE!  Merry Christmas everyone!
Toodles!

Thank you so much for the cute strategy cards!!! I know what you mean about hand-writing them and looking all different. I had them up in my classroom and tore them all down because I couldn't stand looking at them I wrote on my list of things to do "create strategy cards." Thank you for helping me check that off my list! Happy New Year to you!!!

I LOVE these! They will be so fantastic to use with my CAFE board :) I know they suggest having the kids write out the cards, but I LOVE the look of a clean and organized board for strategies and these will be PERFECT :) Thank you for another FAB freebie :) Hope you're having a great Tuesday!

I love love love these! I am getting ready for my new Grade 4's this year and these are perfect! The ones we made as a class last year were...authentic lol...but not not pretty. These are running through the laminator as I type :) Thank you for calming my inner nerd and making my board look matching and organised!
I've just started my own blog - feel free to check me out!

I am new to learning about daily 5 and Cafe and love your blog and am looking to try my best and implementing these this coming year. My question with these strategy cards is, how do you put them up? Do the kids put up which ones they are working on, do you pick which ones go up, what if more than one kid is working on a strategy? Thanks! My email is ameliacook@insightbb.com
